Motto: Labour For Learning

Our school began on September 14, 1992. Started by Ruth Mclish and Sheron Reid, it is the first and only facility for young children in the community. We initially opened in a local church building and have now moved into our own, but as of yet, incomplete building. We educate and care for children from the ages of 3-6 years.
Our school is situated in a small rural community of Cudjoe's Hill, north west of Kingston on the southern shore of Jamaica WI. This name is historical as the community is name after this famous Maroon CUDJOE. A community of about 500 souls, farming provides the main income and most of the people are unemployed.
We are a community based school and solely depend on tuition and sponsorship to operate. We are badly in need of assistance. To complete our facility, we need windows, doors, furniture, paint, and a functional kitchen.
Mountain River Cave is found in Cudjoe's Hill. It was discovered in the 18th century. In this cave can be found 200 painting in black pigment of birds, turtles, fish, lizards, frogs and humans done by the arawaks/taino indians.
Poor nutrition is another factor as most of our parents are unemployed and can't afford to send the children to school regularly.Despite our stuggles, we are able to produce some brilliant students. Our children are the future and we would like to provide them with the highest level of Early Childhood Education.
